Why do we keep Chickens?

Our heiheis (chickens) help us breakdown our biodegradable waste into nutrient rich soil, just like our worm farms and compost bins.

Unlike our worm farms and compost bins our heihei give us eggs and they've got great personalities too.

Year Three are our chicken experts. Today, they went on a scavenger hunt to learn more about our feathered friends.

You can buy our free range eggs from the school office.
