Year Rua Wonder About Our Waka Bees

 


Takahe Room Iwa - What we already know about bees:


James - if you get stung by a bee use baking soda

Charlotte - bees pollinate flowers

Kaylee - bees pollinate flowers so they grow then drop seeds on the ground so more flowers can grow.

Isaac - bees make honey for us to be healthy

Arianna - bees die when they sting you

Keeva -  stay calm if you see a bee

Eddie - bees help our environment

Kendrick - 

David - bees favourite colour is blue 

Liam - bees like purple too

Charlotte - when bees pollinate the petals fall off and they turn into fruit

Arianna - What do bees do inside the hive?

Isaac - Why do bees get nectar?

James - why do bees make honey?

 Kakapo Room Rima have already planted flowers for our bees - tino pai rawa atu! I wonder how else we can help our Waka Bees ...

Tiziano - I know that bees when they sting they die because the sting is part of their body.

Christina - bees like flowers because there’s pollen inside

Ivory - bees like violet flowers  the most

Sahaj - bees go to flowers

Chloe - bees collect honey for people who like honey and there’s only one bee that doesn’t work and that’s the queen bee

Isabella - bees work hard and when they get tired they die but they can still sting people

Rhubab - bees die from some weeds like moth plant

Jack - bees are nature and don’t kill them
