Home Learning Week Rua - growing food, native birds and nature journalism

Ryker's been growing delicious kai -

Ryker is always helping his Mum in their vegetable and herbs gardens. But, he also has a little garden of his very own. Which he has grown the majority of plants in there from seed. He is growing nasturtiums, sage, rainbow chard, spring onions, some flowers for the bees and lots of radishes!! Last week he harvested some radishes from his garden to add to our salad for dinner.

How cute is Evelyn's kiwi ...

Sundaveer sketched flowers from her garden:

Home Learning Week Tahi

Kia ora koutou,

It may not be the start of term we'd hoped for, but at least the sun is shining and there's so much to do and see in our springtime gardens.

Here's this week's home learning.  Don't forget to send your work to Mrs Daniel daniel@wakaaranga.school.nz or Mrs Everitt everitt@wakaaranga.school.nz.

Stay safe and have fun,

Mrs Daniel and Mrs Everitt
