Thanks Rm 18

Room 18 had 1/2 hour spare between the library and going swimming, so we went out and cared for our Senses Garden. Keeping the weeds down so that our new seedlings can grow.

We are all Kaitiakitanga our school.

Year Wha investigated where we can see evidence of the Five Enviroschools Guiding Principles. We mapped the places that make us a GreenGold Enviroschool.

Lastly we tended to our Senses Garden, as next time we're going to make tea with our herbs.

Dirt made my lunch

 Today Year 3 investigated how all our food comes from nutrient rich soil. We want to maintain our healthy soil by using worm farms, compost bins and chickens to convert our food waste into soil for growing new food.
