Our Year Tahi tamariki have been learning about what seeds need to grow - space, soil, nutrients, sun and water.
We can't wait for our beans & peas to pop up!!
We looked at mung beans to see the parts, then we ate them. YUM!
We started a pea experiment:
Room1 noticed their
vege bed had been dug about in. We were worried about the beans we planted last week, so we decided to make a sign. Maybe we need a scarecrow too ...
One week later ...they germinated!!
We can see the roots and shoots.
