Growing Kai with Rooms One & Two

 Today Rooms 1 & 2 had their first Sustainability lesson with Ms Everitt and Mrs Daniel.

We're learning how to grow kai. We watered the garden and dug the soil in the mara kai.

Lastly, we got to try the carrots and apples that we picked.

Jackson "The apples tasted like pinepapples and strawberries"

Nico "I like both"

Chenumi "The carrots tasted like broccoli and tomato"

Saphire "The carrots were crunchy"

Kiwi "The carrot was yummy"

Daniel " I like both"

Junxi "The carrots were crunchy"

We're looking forward to planting seeds next time.
